What “NANDO to Monitor Waste at Riverberi Festival 2025” Meant in Practice
The phrase “NANDO to Monitor Waste at Riverberi Festival 2025” wasn’t just a slogan. It was a real mission. As technical partner, NANDO deployed its AI-powered system to track waste in real time. This gave organizers live insights to guide decisions and assess environmental performance.
The festival took place on Sunday, June 22, at Arena Milano Est in Milan. It brought together environmental experts, institutions, and the local community. Real-Time Waste Monitoring with NANDO.App
Waste production was tracked live throughout the day using NANDO.App. This showed the app’s potential to support better decisions and boost environmental performance at public events.
The results were significant:
-
70 kg of waste produced
-
72% of the total waste sent for recycling
-
9.5 kg of CO₂ emissions monitored
These numbers reflect a strong commitment to responsible event management and highlight how technology can support sustainability goals in a concrete, data-driven way.
