After the successful pilot project launched together with City Green Light last year – when NANDO was installed at the “Bassi – Catalano” Secondary School – the startup is starting 2023 with a brand new project.

Starting from February, students in Trapani will be able to test themselves, learning how to properly sort waste and choose sustainable alternatives to everyday objects trough play and gamification.

The startup is competing for SDG13: CLIMATE ACTION bringing its innovative solution NANDO: the only technology whose aim is to reduce environmental impact working with waste.

Waste is the fourth largest contributor to CO2 emissions in the world. By properly sorting waste and reducing production, related CO2 emissions will decrease.

But there’s something more: NANDO has an educational function that aims to raise awareness and educate users about a sustainable future by making them participate in change!

Talent Garden organized its usual community lunch on October 19th in its headquarters in Turin, gathering a vibrant community of innovators in the same room sharing its lunch and exchanging experiences.

ReLearn has livened up the lunch with an interactive quiz game on the topic of separate waste collection. Taggers were asked to divide into teams and answer questions on waste collection.

The top three teams were honoured with special prizes offered by three start-ups born and raised in the community: Mammt , Negozio Leggero and Vegetali Ambulanti.

The event was appreciated by all participants and will certainly be repeated in other ways within the community to raise awareness and bring knowledge on important issues through gamification and alternative ways of learning …continue.
